Nvidia and Deutsche Telekom AG announced plans to construct a $1.2 billion AI data center NEAR Munich, slated for operation by early 2026. The facility will deploy 10,000 of Nvidia's advanced GPUs, boosting Germany's AI computing capacity by approximately 50%.

The project aligns with the European Union's $215 billion initiative to accelerate AI development across the region. Key executives from SAP and Deutsche Bank joined Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Deutsche Telekom's Tim Höttges at the Berlin announcement, underscoring Germany's push for AI sovereignty.

Nvidia shares climbed 2.17% to $206.88 following the news. The partnership signals growing institutional investment in AI infrastructure, though no direct cryptocurrency linkages were identified in this development.
